SYC Friday Series (Tracking Playback 2023)
Race dates in 2024 are Friday evenings May 31, June 7, June 14, June 28, July 12, July 19, August 2, August 9, and August 23. Nine (9) race nights scheduled! All non-spinnaker starting in 2024. Races usually start south of the Stamford Lighthouse, but check the Sailing Instructions. Thanks to SYC’s enlightened recognition of its role in promoting sailboat racing, these races are FREE and open to ALL participants, including post-race BBQs and temporary mooring. Free registration should be available on Yachtscoring by late April. The Cows Race of Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2024 is not part of the series, but is similar. It adds a Cows-related rule and has a separate YachtScoring page. Tracking playback.
SYC Double-Handed Regatta June 2 and October 6 (assumed dates for 2024), Overnight Race August 16, 2024 (Tracking playback), Vineyard Race August 30-September 1, 2024, Denmark Race September 8, 2024 (Tracking playback).
HYC Stamford Mayor’s Cup Race is on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Tracking playback. Registration is open on Yachtscoring.
HYC Nellie Guernsey Memorial Race is on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Tracking playback.
Storm Trysail Club’s Block Island Race starts on Friday, May 24, 2024.
